The basis of this blog (www.aLoveLetterToAmerica.com)* started with a NPR (National Public Radio) program called The Bryant Park Project and their blog on Dr. Ron Paul called “Who Are Ron Paul’s Supporters?” (12/18/07) which resulted in over 3,000 individual comments by Ron Paul supporters. The response was so overwhelming during the first 3 days that NPR had to close down all additional comments for their blog.
NPR’s Laura Conaway said, “Greetings, Ron Paul fans. You’ve been an incredibly civil, thoughtful, well-spoken and engaged crowd. Thing is, you’re also an incredible crowd — so much so that we can’t keep up with turning on all your comments. As of 8:10 or so a.m. Eastern, we’re going to turn off commenting on this thread.”
So, this blog (www.aLoveLetterToAmerica.com)* is a continuation of the massive outpouring of Ron Paul supporters who want to tell America and the whole world why they support Dr. Ron Paul and, more importantly, who they are as Americans and people everywhere.
Many of the initial comments in this blog were copied from the NPR’s blog (cut and pasted individually!) and they are denoted at the end of each comment in the following manner – “Sent by …. | 11:31 AM ET | 12-18-2007″.
We hope that these genuine and heartfelt comments from ordinary people (including your comments) will help many Americans (who will be reading these comments) realize the incredible opportunity that is at hand in the 2008 presidential candidacy of Dr. Ron Paul and the “wildfire” movement that is sweeping across America and the world that many have called the Ron Paul Revolution! And we pray that this realization will goad millions of people into immediate action and join the Ron Paul Revolution!
As one former Democrat who defected to the Ron Paul Revolution recently stated, “Ron Paul is a man that can alter the future of humanity in a way that will enable a human [renaissance].“
